Thoughts While Working with Ceramics
She directly combines minerals and metal oxides, observing the ways materials change and react, with particular attention to states of melting and permeation. Interested in the unstable forms that exist between solid and liquid, she questions how the individual characteristics and wills inherent in objects can be respected and brought into harmony.
Her work explores forms in which different beings can coexist, and materializes the sensations arising between matter and existence through installations, writing, and performances.
